Tutorial 2: Joining a team

Finding a team to join is a simple 2-step process. Here at ready-ready we’ve made finding teams as simple as putting in your country and typing in your postal code. From there you can grab a nice overview of the teams and apply to the ones you’d like.

Step 1:
Click on the dragon boat link! It’s located beside the forum and news links. It will take you to the dragon boat home page, which will allow you to create a team or to find a team.

In the find team section, select your country and then type in your postal code. Click on find teams button. If your postal code registers with our system it will be able to pull teams based on your region. If our system is unable to find your region, you’ll be automatically redirected to our directory listing where you can scan through our directory of teams manually.

Step 2:
The results will show and it will provide a list of teams that you can view in additional detail. Selecting on a team will allow you to view the specifics you are looking for. If you agree with the team, select the apply button.

Fill out the information required to apply the to team!
All applications are mailed to the team executives.

Notes:
If you are redirected to their website, it indicates that the team is not utilizing ready-ready.org for their roster management, and would prefer that you apply using their website!

Sometimes you require a ready-ready.org account to apply!

Birthday should be in the format of YYYY-MM-DD

Having a ready-ready.org account has it's benefits! We keep your data when you apply to a team so that you only need to fill it out once to apply to multiple teams.
