Tutorial 1: Adjusting your user settings

Adjusting your user settings in ready-ready.org is a quick and simple. User settings contain many different types of information ranging from public, personal, and settings.

Settings information:
This information is located in the upper left hand corner of the user screen, blocked in light green. The fields here allow you to alter your password and email. In the future, look here for a feature to enable users to post pictures of them self.

Public Information:
This information is located in the upper right hand corner of the user screen. Here you can alter your first and last name, country, location, and type up your own mini dragon boat biography. All the information in these fields are available for anyone to look at.

Personal Information:
This is information for the teams that you are applying to/a part of. The public is not allowed to view this information, and within the team much of this information is restricted to team members who have certain rights.

Phone and Alternate Phone: All Team Members

Any other information you like changed ie. username can be altered on a special basis. Please contact ready-ready.org directly and we’ll see what we can do to help you out.

FAQ:
When are pictures coming?
When it’s ready. Pictures are ultimately something that will be coming later on the feature list for ready-ready. This isn’t because we don’t think it’s important, but ready-ready.org is first and foremost a dragon boat team management site. It’s more important for us to get features that will assist dragon boat teams and paddlers, than it is to dwell in the areas that both Facebook and ‘insert other here’, do all too well.

I have some ideas on how to make this better. Where do I go?
You’re welcome to post comments in the ready-ready forum. We have a very active suggestion forum and bug forum. We’re here to serve you!
